Collection: Syringa Fragrances

Few notes are as charmingly misunderstood as syringa — the mock orange (Philadelphus coronarius), often confused with lilac though the two are botanically unrelated. In perfumery it delivers a sweet, rich white-floral profile reminiscent of gardenia, honeysuckle and orange blossom: heady, honeyed and slightly creamy, with a fresh green breath that keeps the sweetness from cloying. It opens luminous and nectar-like, then deepens into a warm, jasmine-tinged sensuality with the faintest fruity undertone.

Syringa shines at the heart of romantic floral bouquets, pairing gracefully with neroli, jasmine, tuberose, green leaves and soft musks. The mood it creates is early summer at dusk — a flowering hedge perfuming the whole garden.
