About Creed Fragrances

About Creed Fragrances

Creed is one of the most storied fragrance houses in the world — a family-run dynasty whose history spans an extraordinary 260 years and six generations of master perfumers. Founded in London in 1760 by James Henry Creed, the house quickly established itself among the royal courts and aristocratic families of Europe, crafting bespoke perfumes, gloves, and tailored clothing for an exclusive clientele that would eventually include Queen Victoria, Emperor Napoleon III, and Empress Eugenie. This remarkable heritage of royal patronage has defined Creed's identity ever since.

The house relocated to Paris in the nineteenth century, and it was there that Creed's focus shifted definitively to fragrance — a medium in which the family's exceptional nose proved to be its most enduring gift. Working with natural and rare ingredients sourced from across the globe, and applying the ancient infusion technique to extract the finest qualities from each material, Creed perfumers developed a signature style characterised by freshness, elegance, and remarkable tenacity. Each fragrance in the collection is created by the family themselves rather than outsourced to contracted noses — a distinction that remains central to the brand's identity.

The Creed catalogue includes some of the most beloved fragrances in the world: Aventus, with its bold opening of Calabrian bergamot and blackcurrant over a smoky birch and patchouli heart; Green Irish Tweed, the archetype of the fresh masculine; Millesime Imperial, a luminous marine-citrus masterpiece; and Silver Mountain Water, a crisp Scots pine and bergamot gem. Each carries the weight of the family's craft and a sense of occasion that few fragrances can match.

At Fragrenza, our Creed-inspired fragrances are crafted to capture the freshness, the refinement, and the unmistakable Creed signature at a price that welcomes everyday wear — because exceptional fragrance should not be rationed.
